Uzbekistan’s RANCH University expresses interest in cooperation with Azerbaijani higher education institutions -PHOTO

RANCH University of Technology is interested in cooperation and student exchange with Azerbaijani higher education institutions, the head of the department of the University, Maruba Matkuliyeva, told APA during the visit of Azerbaijani journalists to RANCH University of Technology in Urgench.

"We have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with several prestigious European universities, as well as with the Economic and Western Caspian Universities of Azerbaijan. Our delegation participated in the conference held at the University of Economics in May this year. We have plans to develop cooperation," she said.

Representatives of the Azerbaijani media visited the new campus of RANCH University of Technology located in Urgench, Khorezm region of Uzbekistan.

According to the university official, 12,000 students are currently studying on the campus, and the number of faculties and departments of the university has been increased to 32.

The journalists got acquainted with the educational, dormitory, and infrastructure areas within the campus, and were informed about the university's development of education in the region and training opportunities in the field of technology.

Note that during their visit to Uzbekistan, Azerbaijani journalists who visited local tourism facilities, educational institutions, and production facilities had the opportunity to get acquainted with the economic, social, and tourism potential of the Khiva region.

The visit was carried out within the framework of the “Roadmap for the Development of Cooperation in the Media Field between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan”. The project envisages the exchange of mutual experience and information in the media field between the two countries, as well as the study of advanced approaches to working mechanisms with the media.
