A media tour was organized to the Sos village of the Khojavend district, APA reports.
Leyla Sarabi, the press secretary of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, told journalists that Sos village came under the control of Azerbaijan during the anti-terror operation carried out by the Armed Forces in 2023. So far, existing electricity and gas lines, as well as sub-artesian wells, have been restored in the village; 2 transformers have been installed; the metering process has begun; 3 water reservoirs have been repaired; and approximately 5 kilometers of natural gas pipeline has been laid.
It was noted that out of 259 existing individual houses in Sos village, 70 are uninhabitable and 189 are partially habitable. Currently, 10 houses are ready for use. By the end of the year, another 75 houses will be ready for use. In 2026, the restoration of 104 houses is planned.
So far, 10 families (46 people) have returned to the mentioned village.
Recall that President Ilham Aliyev visited Sos village in the Khojavend district on September 14.
