Diplomat Sara Van Buggenhout has been appointed to the position.
She was welcomed at the Belgian Embassy.
The diplomat expressed her eagerness to get to know and learn more about Azerbaijan and the region.
Sara Van Buggenhout will serve in this post for four years.
