Azerbaijan's GDP grew by 1.5% this year

In January-June 2025, a gross domestic product (GDP) of 62 billion 78.2 million manats or 1.5 percent more compared to the same period of the previous year was produced in the country, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the data, the added value in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 3.1 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 3.9 percent.

34.9 percent of GDP production belonged to industry, 10.2 percent to trade; repair of vehicles, 7.0 percent to transportation and warehousing, 6.3 percent to construction, 5.9 percent to agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2.8 percent to accommodation and public catering for tourists, 1.8 percent to information and communication sectors, 21.1 percent to other sectors, and net taxes on products and imports constituted 10.0 percent of GDP.

GDP per capita amounted to 6066.1 manats.
