North Korea has launched what appears to be two ballistic missiles, which have already fallen into the Sea of Japan, APA reports citing Kyodo news agency.
Earlier, the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the South Korean Armed Forces also reported on the launch of the package in the DPRK.
According to the Japanese Ministry of Defense, the missiles fell outside Japan's exclusive economic zone. No damage was reported. However, the country's coast guard is urging vessels in the area to exercise extreme caution and avoid potential missile fragments.
