US President Donald Trump described his meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as “excellent” after almost three hours of talks, APA reports citing CNN.
“We had a terrific meeting. We discussed a lot of things,” Trump said in a joint appearance with Zelenskyy at Mar-a-Lago.
“I do think we’re getting a lot closer, maybe very close,” Trump said, adding that “we have made a lot of progress on ending that war.”
