As reported, a meeting between President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian was held today in Khankendi, APA reports.
During the meeting, Masoud Pezeshkian, who recalled his official visit to Azerbaijan and the meetings held with satisfaction, emphasized that a new chapter has been opened in Azerbaijani-Iranian relations as a result of the visit.
In this regard, he mentioned the increase in the number of flights between Baku and Tehran, as well as Baku and Tabriz, the ongoing work on the construction of the Aghbend-Kelaleh highway bridge, and touched upon cooperation in other areas.
The Iranian President expressed gratitude for the support and solidarity shown by Azerbaijan during the conflict with Israel.
