The time for the initiative to establish a federation in Cyprus is long overdue, and the international community should accept this, said President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ersin Tatar at the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), APA's correspondent dispatched to Khankendi reports.
The TRNC President said that these positions have also been conveyed to the UN Secretary-General: "This position of ours will be conveyed to the parties at the upcoming meeting."
Ersin Tatar stated that the isolation of the TRNC must end: “I declare that we expect unequivocal support from the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization for the TRNC.”
